4 Live Sessions with Shelley Steele
- Re-imagining a Better You: Introduction to the world of coaching, overview of course expectations/content, the stages of change, goal setting, coaching models, and approaches.
- Emotional Intelligence and Coaching:
Gain insight into your own social emotional skillset how to enhance your personal approach to coaching. Applying the CLEAR coaching model, we take a closer look at brining "presence" to the coaching approach.
- Motivation, Energy, and Coaching:
Energy renewal is essential to move closer to achieving personal goals and overcoming self-sabotage that often time blocks progress. What motivates one person, may not inspire another.
- Identity and Finding Purpose:
In this final session we'll explore how understanding your identity impacts how you coach and is critical to supporting the growth of your coachee. Each person brings a diverse set of strengths, perspectives and lived experiences. We’ll apply the GROW coaching model in our session.

Each week, you'll have opportunities to practice and reflect on coaching approaches and concepts alongside the cohort of course participants.

An award-winning entrepreneur, she has over 35 years of experience as an educator, producer/director, and personal development coach.
Shelley has instructed at the Faculty of Education (OISE/UT), and lead programs covering inclusive leadership, emotional intelligence, healthy lifestyle management, entrepreneurism, and global issues (Centennial College).
